On August 31st, airBaltic welcomed its 50 millionth passenger. The passenger landed at the airline's home base, RIGA International Airport (RIX) in Latvia. They had just flown from Vienna, Austria, aboard one of the airline's signature aircraft, the Airbus A220-300. What followed was a large celebration to commemorate the event.
