The A350-1000 plays a specific role in Etihad's fleet. Aside from particular versions of the 777-300ER, which supposedly will be retired, they're the carrier's highest-capacity equipment. They also have a longer range than its high-capacity 787-10s and the airline's largest business cabin, dictating the routes on which they're used. These include London Heathrow, one of five destinations to see the type this winter.
