WestJet Cargo has four newly-converted Boeing 737-800 BCF freighters sitting idle on the ramp at its Calgary base.
The airline and Boeing are awaiting certification of the conversion in Canada from Transport Canada.
The airline was previously hopeful of launching the freighters this past summer.
The airline is now targeting March 26, 2023 as the new launch date of freighter operations.
