Aerospace company and electric aviation pioneer, Vertical Aerospace has released its financial results for the six months ended June 30, 2022. The company reported a net operating loss of £39.5 million ($48.1 million), compared to the £22 million ($26.8 million) net loss in the first half of 2021. The biggest increase came from research and development expenses, which in 1H 2022 rose to £19.4 million ($23.7 million), from £7.7 million ($9.4 million) last year.
