The Tata Group has begun implementing its strategy of bringing its various airlines together by deciding to move Air India, Air India Express, and AirAsia India under one roof. Ever since the conglomerate took control of AI and AI Express in January this year, there has been speculation about some kind of consolidation of its various airline businesses. Combining the workspaces of three of its carriers is likely a first step in that direction.
