The British Airways Boeing 747 That Spent 3 Years On Lease At Qantas

British Airways took delivery of a new Boeing 747-400 in March 1990, following an order with Boeing in 1986. The aircraft spent the majority of its working life with British Airways, under registration G-BNLH. For a period of around two and a half years, the aircraft was leased to Qantas, before being returned to British Airways to see out its last days. It was then scrapped in 2009 and taken to California. We take a closer look at the life of this aircraft.
