Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has released its financial report from this past quarter. The airline reports a 115% increase in revenue over the same quarter last year. The airline is seeing positive financial growth despite the pilot strike that occurred in July. The SAS Scandinavia pilot's unions strike, which lasted 15 days in July, cost the company SEK 100-130 million ($9.5-$12.5 million) per day. The strike caused approximately 4,000 flights to be delayed or canceled. Roughly 380,000 passengers were affected by these disruptions. The airline attributes its success during this quarter to its positive recovery since the pandemic. The airline claims that following its recovery plan, it has seen positive success despite rising costs and strikes.
