LATAM’s Fleet Won’t Return To Pre-COVID Sizes Any Time Soon

LATAM Airlines Group fleet will not recover its pre-pandemic fleet size at least until 2028, according to a recently updated Business Plan by the company, as part of its ongoing Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings in the United States. When the airline filed for bankruptcy in 2020 it had an operational fleet of 340 aircraft, and by 2027 expects to have 326.
