It isn't surprising that the use of the B767-300ER is rapidly diminishing in passenger service as more fuel-efficient aircraft take over. This winter, OAG shows that the widebody will operate just 3% of the world's long-haul flights, down from 9% a decade ago. If all flights are considered, the B767-300ER will be used on 0.24% – that is, one in every 417 – a threefold reduction. Icelandair still uses them.
