Earlier this year, we reported that Southwest Airlines' retro desert gold-painted Boeing 737-700 would transition to a MAX 8 aircraft due to the -700's retirement. A very special and unique gold design, the livery was a tribute to its founder, Herb Kelleher. About seven months have now passed since the news emerged, and we are now getting visual confirmation that a 737 MAX 8 has had the special livery applied.
