A former Qantas Boeing 747-400 that was due to be turned into an engine testbed for Rolls-Royce will instead likely be scrapped in the coming weeks. As first reported by FlightGlobal, the company's focus will change to maintaining its existing Boeing 747-200 testbed aircraft for a reduced flying test load that has been forecast.
