flydubai has announced that it will suspend operations in Iraq for two days. The announcement follows a string of violent events in Baghdad's safe zone earlier this week, where over 20 people have died. The airline has taken precautionary measures by canceling all flights to and from the country on August 30th and 31st. It looks as if the airline may further suspend flights going into September. It is keeping a close eye on the situation to help it make the safest decisions possible. Other airlines, such as Emirates, have issued warnings to travelers as it suspended flights to the country for the same days as flydubai.
