Delta Air Lines has announced that it recently invested $60 million into an all-electric, vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) company Joby Aviation. The investment is the start of a multi-year partnership with the young startup company. The partnership will give Delta passengers a premium experience traveling from home to the airport. The airline has advertised that passengers will be picked up by the next-generation aircraft at their homes and taken to the airport.
