American Airlines has applied to the US Department of Transportation for the rights to operate a further 14 roundtrip flights each week between Miami (MIA) and Havana (HAV). The airline already operates over 40 roundtrip flights a week between the two cities, but its application this week says the extra frequencies will allow it to "enhance" those frequencies.
