Last year in December, Allegiant and Viva Aerobus announced plans for a fully-integrated Commercial Alliance Agreement. The alliance was not only the first such joint venture plan for Las Vegas-based Allegiant and Mexico City-based Viva Aerobus but was also the first of its kind in the global airline industry between two ultra-low-cost carriers.
