US airline Horizon Air has found a very useful and valuable afterlife for one of its retiring Bombardier Q400 aircraft. Rather than sending it off to sit in a desert, the airline, through the generosity of its parent Alaska Airlines, has donated it to Portland Community College (PCC) for use in student aviation programs.
