A stall is a condition where the aircraft loses altitude and control. It is one of the most misunderstood phenomena. The common dialogue is that a stall is caused by a loss of speed. But this is an incorrect statement. The speed of the aircraft has nothing to do with a stall. You could technically stall an aircraft at any speed.
