Attendees of Routes World in Las Vegas were given more insight into the proposed Allegiant-VivaAerobus joint venture. The pair's management said that the "marriage," which has been approved by Mexican authorities, should see US approval in the next six months. They expect 150 US-Mexico routes by the decade's end and some connecting flights – something Allegiant currently doesn't do – in time.
