Despite the onslaught of Russian men fleeing the country following Putin's orders of "partial mobilization" to fuel the ongoing invasion of Ukraine, passenger numbers for Aeroflot remain lowered. Perhaps this has something to do with ticket prices skyrocketing and the flag carrier removing the possibility of paying for international tickets with miles until at least November 1. Of course, the downward trend has been going on for longer, and it is showing up in the first nine months of 2022 with a drop in passengers by 8.2% year-on-year.
