SWISS Air Lines has launched its first passenger flight on a Boeing 777 utilizing AeroSHARK technology. The airplane departed Zurich Airport (ZRH) in Switzerland at 13:39 CET and is expected to arrive at Miami International Airport (MIA) around 17:28 ET. The unique thing about this 777-300ER registered HB-JNH can be found along its entire fuselage. Since flying its last flight to ZRH in August, the aircraft has been fitted with AeroSHARK custom airframe skin technology. This technology helps reduce drag enabling the aircraft to burn less fuel, saving the airline money, and reducing carbon emissions.
