Cathay Pacific continues to be heavily impacted by the travel restrictions imposed by Hong Kong’s government due to COVID-19. In August, the airline carried 91.3% fewer passengers than in the same period prior to the pandemic, and Cathay only expects to reach a third of its pre-pandemic capacity by the end of the year.
