The Nigerian Federal Government has issued a new policy to punish foreign carriers for selling tickets to Nigerian passengers in US dollars instead of Nigerian Naira. This was also passed on to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), which was instructed to swing into action reporting airlines’ malpractices, and ensuring that no violator, no matter how highly placed, would be spared.
