The Aircraft Accidents Investigation Branch(AAIB) has released the official report regarding the tail strike of a British Airways Airbus A350. The incident occurred on January 2nd, 2022, at London Heathrow Airport(LHR). All persons aboard the aircraft were declared safe and unharmed. The incident was the result of a go-around procedure executed by the pilots. The nose was raised slightly during the procedure, causing the tail to dip down low enough to scrape the runway.
